I finally got it assembled enough to start. I made the fuel rail and intake manifold and used a Saturn throttle body. Amazingly, it started on the first try. Much work remains. I need to make a cold air duct and filter. I will plumb in the evaporative emission control system and positive crankcase ventilation system. This will go a long way to keep the oil clean and reduce seal leakage. Extensive tuning will be needed using a laptop and most likely a chassis dyno.
